Well I have been a dad for 8 weeks now, and am exhausted.

finding the time to sleep is hard enough let alone finding time to draw anything. So I have been taking photographs in an effort to satisfy those creative urges.

I am by no means an accomplished photographer and my camera is pretty crappy, but I have a few shots that I am happy with and have decided to unleash them.

I hope things calm down soon and I will be able to get drawing again, I miss my sketch pad : (

 

My son Jackson Dickie was born last week.
His first week of life was a bit rough due to the fact he picked up an infection in hospital. He weighed 4.23 kilos and was 55 cm long, so is a big boy and strong enough to fight off whatever he had picked up. Mother and baby finally came home yesterday and I can honestly say when people comment that babies change your life forever that they are 100 percent correct, but in a good way.
He had not had created a doody in three days until last night when he produced a lake of the most toxic sludge known to medical science, which as much as it was nasty was also a relief to know he was ok.
So I want you all to raise a glass of whatever poison you fancy and let out a whoop for da poop, or just toast the health of baby Jax.

Been a bit lazy with my drawing lately, having one of those uninspired periods that seems to drag on forever.

Anyway i am trying to break through it by looking at a bunch of old sketch books and seeing if i can re-do or add on to anything. This seems to be working despite the fact that i groan with dismay at some of my old stuff.

So i hope to have a load of new stuff to post soon.
